Pick a file by name

fzf --preview 'head -20 {}' --preview-window=right:60%

Search history without retyping

history | fzf --tie=ctrl-r --bind 'ctrl-r:toggle-sort' | sed 's/^[ ]*[0-9]*[ ]*//' | eval "$(fc -s -)"

The fc -s - at the end is what executes the chosen line. Without it fzf only prints it.
